The International Chamber of Commerce estimated that digitising trade documents could generate $25 billion in new economic growth by 2024.

In this breakfast roundtable hosted by Laura Clatworthy (Partner, Rosenblatt) and moderated by Jonny Fry (Co-Founder & CEO, TeamBlockchain), our panel of experts will discuss the wider significance of  the Electronic Trade Documents Act 2023 (ETDA) for international trade finance. They will consider the barriers to adoption and will explore the gateways and implications arising beyond shipping, such as the potential to digitise other instruments including physical share certificates and deeds.

Aljosja Beije, Director at DockLab, will be joining us online to talk about how the Port of Rotterdam has digitised bills of lading. Docklab is a technology lab and venture studio, rooted in the Port of Rotterdam.

The roundtable will take place at Rosenblatt and Memery Crystal’s offices at 165 Fleet Street from 8.30am to 11am on Tuesday 28 November 2023. To find out more about our agenda and reserve your spot please click here.
