Breakfast Roundtable: Structuring for Token Issuance

In this roundtable we will be looking at the lifecycle of a token issuance project from initial planning through to implementation. We will be examining the legal and tax implications and requirements any business considering a token issuance will need to understand and factor in to its key strategic decisions on structuring their token issuance. We will then discuss how you run the structure and the requirements of an offshore director. We will be looking at these questions from the perspective of both a UK Development Company and if you are or wish to be offshore.

We are also joined by Chrissy Hill, interim COO and Chief Legal Officer of Parity Technologies. Parity is the leading technical contributor to the Polkadot network, an ecosystem now featuring an interconnected community of around 600 Web3 start-ups, many of which have gone on to issue their own native tokens.

Topics to be covered include tax planning, regulatory frameworks, SAFEs and SAFTs, choice of jurisdiction, corporate offshore requirements and trends in token issuance.
