The construction team at Memery Crystal continue to advise Saracens on the £23m redevelopment of the West Stand at their Stone X stadium in north London. The demolition of the existing West Stand, which was built in 1964, has now commenced.

Once completed, the redeveloped West Stand will include a fully accessible, weatherproof facility for c. 3000 spectators; first-class hospitality experience; a centre of excellence for Middlesex University’s London Sport Institute and School of Health Education that includes a purpose built simulation suite; a dedicated education centre operated by the Saracens Foundation, the club’s charitable arm; improved training, medical and competition facilities for all users including athletics, rugby and community sport; a community garden designed by local school children; and a new media facility.

The Memery Crystal team on this project is being led by our head of construction Joanne Kelly, and includes associate Jamie Bell and paralegal Meera Pankhania.
