The banking and finance team at Memery Crystal have advised a private client on the £43m refinancing of three mixed-use properties on Great Portland Street in London’s West End. Financing was provided by Canada Life European Real Estate.
The Memery Crystal team on this transaction was led by our head of banking & finance Matthew Lindsay, and included associate Tom Driscoll and solicitor Rachel Adams. Real estate advice was provided by director Ben Shore.
Commenting on the deal, Matthew Lindsay said: “This was a complex transaction that involved overseas main borrower entities and properties with multiple uses, and we are delighted to have advised our client on this (deal) within a tight timescale.”
