Taseko Mines

Memery Crystal LLP, the independent London based law firm, is pleased to announce that it has acted as English legal advisor to Taseko Mines Limited (Taseko), the North American focused copper producer and developer, for the admission of its shares to trading on the standard segment of the London Stock Exchange. Under the ticker LSE:TKO, Taseko’s shares commenced trading today.

The Memery Crystal team on this transaction was led by Partner Kieran Stone, and included Solicitor Lauren Belmonte, and Trainee Solicitor George Jackson.

Wider ECM work

So far in 2019, Memery Crystal Corporate partners Michael Dawes, Nick Davis and Kieran Stone have advised on 50% of the mining IPOs in the London market, and 60% of the broader Natural Resources London listings including TSX-V-listed Pure Gold Mining, NYSE-listed VAALCO Energy and TSX-listed Valeura Energy. The firm also advised on the take-private of ASX/LSE-listed copper company MOD Resources this year, which dual-listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange in 2018, and is currently acting for ASX-listed vanadium developer TNG Limited on its London dual listing.

Partner Kieran Stone commented: “We are delighted to have worked with the Taseko team on its admission to the London Stock Exchange. This listing further demonstrates the attractiveness of London to companies looking to increase their liquidity and take the next step in their development.”

CEO and Corporate Partner Nick Davis added: “It is a great testimony to the quality and depth of the firms ECM team that it continues to be at the forefront of natural resources listings in London this year.”
