Partner Robin Fry contributes to Technology Law publication

Partner Robin Fry has contributed the chapter on ‘Resale of Business Software’ in the inaugural edition of ‘An Introduction to Technology Law’ published last week by LexisNexis Butterworths. Robin, whose work is principally focussed on software licensing, said that the position on resale of digital products was still highly contentious with the European Court set to rule on transfer of eBooks in the Tom Kabinet case early next year.

The book also includes coverage of key technology law issues across software, cloud, websites, domain names, outsourcing, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, blockchain, drones, media, advertising, and telecommunications.
