Steve is a partner in our Employment Department and Head of Commercial Contracts.  He specialises in human relations management including all aspects of hiring, continuing employment, dispute resolution and dismissal. Steve provides strategic and practical advice in relation to management of business reorganisations, restructurings, outsourcing and agency arrangements and redundancy programmes for a wide range of businesses and individuals. Steve also negotiates for and against senior executives on engagement and exit and advises on bonus plan and restrictive covenant issues.

Steve also specialises in all manner of commercial contracts, including outsourcing and agency contracts (including advising in relation to managing termination of the same), distribution, marketing, reseller, maintenance and support arrangements, framework, joint venture and research and development agreements and introductory and intermediary services arrangements. Steve also advises on invitations to tender, requests for proposals and tender and response documentation and assists clients with business and management issues and the practical implementation of trading relationships and risk minimalisation measures.

Steve is listed in International Who's Who. He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association. Steve regularly presents at seminars both within the firm (for clients and colleagues) and externally at clients' locations (often to management teams) on a variety of practical topics.
