Sean Rush is an international energy lawyer with particular expertise in the oil and gas industry.
Sean joined the industry in 1996 with Agip UK, and has since dealt with all types of oil and gas arrangements in the offshore industry and managed the delivery of legal services relating to numerous operated and non-operated assets and business development functions.
In the 10 years prior to joining Memery Crystal, Sean held the position of Legal Manager for Petro-Canada's North West European business unit, advising the Management Team on strategic direction and overseeing the legal function and staff for a 120,000 bbls per day, US$7 billion business in the UK, Dutch and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea along with development opportunities in Russia. He additionally spent two years at Petro-Canada's head office in Calgary, Canada undertaking oil sands developments, corporate financing and East Coast Canada offshore projects.
Sean is able to provide strategic advice to management and additionally lead the negotiation and completion of all types of oil and gas related transactions, such as TPOSAs/TPAs (including ICoP compliance), M&A (corporate, asset, swaps and farm ins), JOAs, Production Sharing Contracts, Gas Sale and Purchase, LNG/UCG development, CRINE agreements, EPCs, capital lease structures, Unitisation and Redeterminations, and facility use, development and financing.
