Eugene is Head of Real Estate at Memery Crystal and has extensive experience in all aspects of property and property development work, acting for leading UK retailers and developers who operate in England/Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (where he is separately qualified). His specialisms include advising on and negotiating complex development and funding agreements, Planning law and practice and Compulsory Purchase.

Eugene has also developed particular expertise in the educational sector, having first been involved in the legal work for the establishment of the original 15 City Technology Colleges in the late 1980s/early 1990s, which has led to Eugene and his team being instructed by a number of private sponsors and the Department for Children Schools and Families in the Academy programme.

Eugene has been recognised as a Leading Individual in real estate in the 2009 edition of Chambers UK, which praises him as "a hugely intelligent lawyer who considers his clients at every step in a deal."
