Daniel Pfeiffer

Group Director of Property Litigation

Dan provides legal advice and assistance to clients (both landlords and tenants) in relation to 1954 Act litigation, dilapidations, breach of covenant, forfeiture and relief, recovery of possession and outstanding rents and all other commercial and residential property problems and dispute resolution.  He acts for various property companies and other organisations and individuals with property interests in relation to industrial estates, shopping centres, offices, shops, mansion blocks and all types of commercial and residential premises and land.  He has been involved in a number of notable reported cases, but he derives more satisfaction from assisting clients in resolving their problems through negotiating good settlements and the day-to-day management of their property portfolios.

During a career spanning more than forty years, Dan has headed Litigation and Property Departments.  He is one of the original members of the Property Litigation Association and has given talks on the introduction of new law on various topics including, The Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995 and The Regulatory Reform (Business Tenancies) (England and Wales) Order 2003.
