Alastair has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate. He acts for a wide range of retailers, occupiers, developers, property investors, property funds, educational establishments and lending institutions. He has particular expertise in complex development work and planning issues. Alastair also heads up the firm's real estate finance team.

Alastair is also qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, where he has several years of practical experience acting for investors and retailers.  He is also a member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and has acted on a number of high-profile administrations from a property perspective.  Alastair is a regular speaker on aspects of property law, particularly planning issues, where he has extensive experience.  He has also contributed to a number of articles and journals.
