Memery Crystal Names Lesley Gregory as Chief Executive
Memery Crystal LLP is pleased to announce that partner Lesley Gregory has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Executive, effective 1 May 2010. Lesley will take over responsibilities from Harvey Rands, whose term as Managing Partner ends 30 April. Harvey will return to his role as full-time Head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Department.
In a change to the firm’s management structure, the Chief Executive role will replace that of Managing Partner, with a greater focus on spearheading strategic growth and client development. The Chief Executive will chair the firm’s Management Committee, whose other members will be partners Nick Davis and Alex Read.
Lesley Gregory commented: “I am delighted to take on this new role and to help guide the firm during a period which is sure to be both challenging and exciting. Harvey has demonstrated tremendous leadership during his term as Managing Partner, successfully guiding our firm through the toughest recession in its history. I am thankful to be assuming my new responsibilities on such a solid foundation, and I look forward to working with everyone at the firm on the next chapter of the firm’s development.”
