Memery Crystal Advises on £20m Placing for Leed Petroleum Plc

Memery Crystal LLP has acted for Matrix Corporate Capital LLP in its role as nominated adviser and co-broker to Leed Petroleum Plc ("Leed), and for Brewin Dolphin Investment Banking in its role as co-broker to Leed, in connection with the placing of 400,000,000 new ordinary shares of 5p each to trading on AIM.  The fund raising raised £20m before expenses.

Leed is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with its operations concentrated in the Gulf of Mexico. Leed has working interests in 17 outer continental shelf Gulf of Mexico leases, as well as leases in one onshore field located in South Louisiana, United States.

The Memery Crystal team was headed by corporate partner Nick Davis and included corporate associate David Langford.
